Welcome to August, dear readers! For many of us, the fall semester is just around the corner, and we are starting to think about the transition from summer to fall. Many of us are concerned about finding time to write during this hectic semester.

Over the next few posts, I will lay out strategies for guarding time to write throughout the semester. The goal is to help you mentally prepare for the upcoming academic year by determining how to set aside more time for writing and research.

Among the many concerns voiced by PNP readers in a survey distributed earlier this year was the difficulty of fitting writing into an already hectic schedule.
