Do I have to work full-time for the entire five days?
No, you can choose how much time you want to devote to writing on any of the days. If you have other plans or have other commitments, you can adjust your goals for the 5-day sprint accordingly.
It’s extremely flexible! The main focus will be on creating achievable goals that you can manage even with your other commitments.
What is the schedule or commitment for the days you participate?
Check-In One: You will respond to a daily prompt about what you want to achieve for the day and any other questions posed by the facilitator.
Writing Period: You will work on your project for a period of time that you set for the day. For some of us, this may mean 6 hours, and for some of us, this may mean 30 minutes. “Writing” means anything associated with the project, such as reading, note-taking, brainstorming, outlining, drafting, editing, proofreading, etc.
Check-in One: You will reflect on what you achieved for the day, troubleshoot any challenges, and write a comment on at least one other person’s check-in for the day.
What platform will we use to check-in?
We will use the Substack discussion board. You’ll get an email each day with prompts and encouragement.
