Let’s talk about courage—about what it means to speak up when it feels risky, to keep writing when the world seems to be falling apart, and to continue our intellectual work even when facing personal hardship.

It's hard to push forward with your research when it feels like the ground beneath academia is shifting. When research containing terms like "gender" faces defunding and institutions are closing programs due to “budget shortfalls,” it's natural to wonder: why am I doing this? Does my work even matter anymore?

I believe that, with a little courage, you can remember that your work does indeed matter. Albert Einstein’s defiance of the Nazi regime is a striking example.
