Definitely going to try the reverse outline technique. I’m opposite… I drag my feet through the draft but love doing proofreading and citations (especially once I started doing them annotated style—I compile every citation from every post I write into the master Citations page on my Substack because I hope to have a book someday and it just feels good to see that resource growing and know it will be ready for me when I am). My favorite AI-type writing tool is Hemingway app for desktop.
Thanks so much for your comment, Nikko! Yes, everyone seems to have their favorite parts of the process. If I never had to do another citation in my life, I'd be so happy. Alas, it doesn't work that way. :) That's so smart of you to keep such good records for your book! That's brilliant and is going to pay off so much!
I'm really enjoying it! I was skeptical and thought that the bot wouldn't be able to produce good suggestions, but I find that it does surprisingly well!
