I love this! I'm at the dissertation writing stage now (Sociology PhD, archival/historical) and would like to turn it into a book afterwards, but reminds me to keep an eye on the prize for now - which is getting past dissertation defense before I worry about refashioning it into a book manuscript
Absolutely! I think understanding the fundamental differences between the diss and the book can be really helpful as you write the diss. It can take some of the pressure off of this stage. ❤️
