I'm in. I'm a brand spanking new Asst. Prof. starting my first semester on the tenure track with a book proposal that I'd like to pull together within the next couple months. I'll be doing an hour a day, working on my outline and other proposal elements.

I am a graduate student and now a paid member. I want to use this time to map out conference presentations - I was very ambitious with submitting abstracts to a conference taking place in early September and now have a lot to do in order to be ready!!
Hi all! I'm a graduate student and paid member. I want to use this time to refine a proposal I drafted during one of my summer classes and I gave myself a August 18th deadline to share with my advisor. So, I definitely hope to use this time to push this out!
I'm a grad student and not a paid member, would love to join the community to write. Thank you to the member who is sponsoring the subscriptions for the 3 grad students.
Thank you to the generous member who is offering 3 paid subscriptions for graduate students (and thank you Jenn). I am a graduate student who is about to be in the dissertating phase and would greatly benefit from a subscription. This site has already provided me with so much wonderful information, and I'd love to continue to access it all :)
Interested! I have promised a draft of an article to a journal by August 20 so this is perfect timing. I will be "off the grid" for a day or so in the Colorado Rockies. Hope that works.
Grad student & not a paid member – would love to join the sprint to get out a draft of my last body chapter. (And thank you to the generous founding reader for your support of graduate community members!!)
I would love to join! Currently working on a paper manuscript. Hope to make consistent progress in the next few weeks.

Hi I’d like to join if not too late! I’m a lecturer in sociology, trying to finish a journal article I’ve working on which is based on my PhD thesis.

I am also a grad student and would love to throw my name into the randomized draw for the sponsored subscriptions!
Would be happy to join! I have some heavy grant writing to do after a 2 weeks break and it scares me a lot 😅
Would love to join — I have an article deadline on 31 August, so I really need to set aside some focused writing time.
